    This book has a larger mission that anti-cancer, it also wants to offer a radical point of view different from standard views of what cancer is. Commenting on a totally different realm, Michael Mauboussin, a banker and author of “Think Twice” by Harvard Business School Press (2009) commented that “Humans have a deep desire to understand cause and effect, as such links probably conferred humans with evolutionary advantage. In complex adaptive systems, there is no simple method for understanding the whole by studying the parts, so searching for simple agent-level causes of system-level effects is useless. Yet our minds are not beyond making up a cause to relieve the itch of an unexplained effect” which is the same problem when we try to find simple minded “magic bullets” to treat a complex “system” as cancer although Mauboussin was referring to the complex system that is finance.
